What is a Family? - CA
  • Overview

There are radical movements afoot today dedicated to erasing the manifestations of the glory of God through His Son Jesus Christ in the world. Our adversary is pointing His fiercest arrows on family life, manhood and womanhood and the entire functionality of the family. The devil hates man made in the image of God as male and female.  He hates marriage. He hates children and seeks to cut them off before they can have children for the glory of God.

How do the people of God set themselves against these attacks? By growing in the knowledge of God and obeying His ways. How do we grow in the knowledge of God and the word of His grace? This is the central guiding light for everything in our lives - including family life. Knowing the excellencies of God and His ways through Word of the person of Jesus Christ provides all we need to navigate family life today. The beauties of His attributes guide us. His attributes are all manifested in His design for family life. His commands for families, we see the glory of Jesus Christ and how His glory manifests itself in everyday life.

At the conference, we will describe how the glory of God as it is revealed in marriage and family. We will be dealing with very practical matters of obedience for family life. It is in fearing the Lord and walking in His ways that we walk in the light, and find happiness and fulfillment.

"Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord" Isaiah 50:10
