    Join Scott Brown and other pastors from across the Midwest for a Pastors' Luncheon and afternoon retreat on Friday, August 6 at Dogwood Community Church in Paoli, Indiana, about an hour from Louisville, 2 hours from Indy, and 2.5 hours from Cincinnati.  We will start at noon with a fellowship lunch to get to know one another.  We will hear from several area pastors who will share what is on their hearts for this time in church history.  We will conclude with a time of prayer and be done by 4:00 (2:00). Although this event is FREE, we do ask you to register here. This event is sandwiched by a Family Conference.  If you would like more info on the family conference:

    Scott Brown

    Scott T. Brown is the president of Church and Family Life and pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Scott graduated from California State University in Fullerton with a degree in History and received a Master of Divinity degree from Talbot School of Theology. He gives most of his time to local pastoral ministry, expository preaching, conferences on church and family reformation. Scott helps people think through the two greatest institutions God has provided — the church and the family.

    Kevin Swanson

    Kevin Swanson is a pastor of Reformation Church in Elizabeth, Colorado. Together with his wife Brenda, they have raised five children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord - Daniel, Emily, Rebekah, Bethany, and Abigail. Kevin is the author and editor for the Family Bible Study Guide Series and the Christian Classics Study Guides. He has served as an elder in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ for 22 years. Over the years, he has taken the message of family discipleship to most of the fifty states, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, and Japan.

    Kirk Smith

    Kirk Smith is the Executive Director for the Illinois Christian Home Educators (ICHE). As such, his consistent message is the emphasis on home discipleship (particularly father-led) and the fear of the Lord as the source of wisdom and knowledge. Prior to his present position, he founded and pastored a church in Albion, Illinois for twenty-five years. He and his wife, Joely, live on a small farm outside Bone Gap with their eleven children. 

    Doug Barger

    Doug Barger was raised in inner-city Indianapolis, known as Brookside. Gang life and drugs nearly put him in prison and the grave. But after many years, he found himself on his knees in a little inner-city Baptist church. There, by the providential hand of God, he repented and found the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ.

    After over ten years of serving the church in various capacities, Doug Barger planted Christ Reformed Baptist Church in 2015.

    Pastor Doug has been happily married to his wife Jessica for over fourteen years. They have three wonderful children, and two more that they believe are with Jesus in heaven. The Barger family resides in Henry County, Indiana. There, they pray that the glory of God through Jesus Christ will be made known throughout their region. 

    Anthony Moore

    Anthony Moore has been involved in Pastoral ministry for the last 30 years. Since 2007 he has been the lead Pastor of Dogwood Community Church, a family integrated fellowship he founded. He has been married to Robin for 28 years. They have 5 children from age 22 to 10 that they have been blessed to homeschool and 1 grandson.

    Keith McWhorter

    Keith McWhorter is Preaching Pastor, Corydon Baptist Church, Corydon, IN. He graduated Vanderbilt University and served six years as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and was a Materials Manager for GE. He received an MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is was Associate Family Pastor at Tar Landing Baptist Church, Jacksonville / Camp Lejeune from 2007-2012
