    One of my hopes is that pastors in a region who embrace the sufficiency of Scripture will begin to know each other better and in turn work together to advance the kingdom of heaven in their communities.

    To that end, the NCFIC would like to invite you to a luncheon for prayer, mutual encouragement, fellowship, and exhortation to be held on Wednesday August 30, 2017 in Denver, CO.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
    Location: Southeast Denver, CO
    Speakers: Though this event is not primarily about teaching, exhortations will be given by Scott Brown, Mike Cheney and others
    Cost: $10.00

    Scott Brown

    Scott T. Brown is the president of Church and Family Life and pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Scott graduated from California State University in Fullerton with a degree in History and received a Master of Divinity degree from Talbot School of Theology. He gives most of his time to local pastoral ministry, expository preaching, conferences on church and family reformation. Scott helps people think through the two greatest institutions God has provided — the church and the family.

    Mike Cheney

    Mike Cheney and his wife, Roxie, have been blessed with two children, Annie and Corey, whom they have home educated since birth. They are entrepreneurs and believe in developing multiple streams of income to keep family economies strong, vibrant and able to weather economic difficulties for present needs as well as those of future generations.

    As the director of the national AME Program and of Family Economics for Generations with Vision, Mike has a passion to share a vision for discipleship in all kinds of businesses. The Cheneys served CHEC as Conference Coordinators for 11 years and Mike served as CHEC's Operations Director for 10 years. He is a founder and teaching elder at Covenant Love Fellowship Church in Parker, Colorado.

    Kevin Swanson

    Kevin Swanson is a pastor of Reformation Church in Elizabeth, Colorado. Together with his wife Brenda, they have raised five children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord - Daniel, Emily, Rebekah, Bethany, and Abigail. Kevin is the author and editor for the Family Bible Study Guide Series and the Christian Classics Study Guides. He has served as an elder in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ for 22 years. Over the years, he has taken the message of family discipleship to most of the fifty states, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, and Japan.
