Church Leader’s Luncheon - Denver, Colorado

  • Overview

    We would like to invite you to a day of prayer, mutual encouragement, fellowship, and exhortation to be held on Wednesday, September 2nd. Deacons and aspiring church officers are also more than welcome.

    - Date/time: Wednesday, September 2nd, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

    - Location: Mercy Bible Baptist, 3885 S Broadway, Englewood, CO 80113.

    - Speakers: Though this event is not primarily about teaching, exhortations will be given by Scott Brown, and Kevin Swanson and remarks and Q & A from a number of local pastors & elders

    - Cost: $5 per person, which includes the lunch that will be provided. 

    - What to expect: A day of encouragement for pastors and other church officers.

    We greatly desire to see like-minded pastors and congregations within a small geographical area begin to (1) know each other, (2) actively encourage each other, and (3) join together in Great Commission labors. As the Lord would give us grace, we wants to facilitate this by bringing pastors together and giving them an opportunity to interact and pray for each other.

  • Speakers

    Scott Brown

    Scott T. Brown is the president of Church and Family Life and pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Scott graduated from California State University in Fullerton with a degree in History and received a Master of Divinity degree from Talbot School of Theology. He gives most of his time to local pastoral ministry, expository preaching, conferences on church and family reformation. Scott helps people think through the two greatest institutions God has provided — the church and the family.

    Kevin Swanson

    Kevin Swanson is a pastor of Reformation Church in Elizabeth, Colorado. Together with his wife Brenda, they have raised five children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord - Daniel, Emily, Rebekah, Bethany, and Abigail. Kevin is the author and editor for the Family Bible Study Guide Series and the Christian Classics Study Guides. He has served as an elder in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ for 22 years. Over the years, he has taken the message of family discipleship to most of the fifty states, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, and Japan.
