About

Dominion Covenant Fellowship is a local house church which started in 2019. We operate under the principle of keeping congregations small and local, in order to have an impact on the communities in which we live. Our desire is to grow into several congregations in Ohio that can network together and work toward making disciples of all nations, starting in our own cities and towns.

The Church in America (and in much of the world) is currently undergoing a major crisis. For many years Christians have allowed worldly opinions and philosophies to shape their thinking on a variety of issues and we are now seeing the bitter fruit of this carelessness.

The anti-Christian forces march unopposed through all Western nations, turning what was once known as Christendom into a new Sodom. The strength of the enemy is due to the inability of the Church to completely purge out the leaven of secularism, egalitarianism, Cultural Marxism, globalism and multiculturalism. The desire to appear “nice” and “compassionate” in the eyes of secular society has led to one defeat after another.

Local churches have rejected the true teachings of scripture and its principles held by our fathers in favor of conforming to principles held by the world. It seems that the church is always just a few years behind the world. At Dominion Covenant Church, we are putting a stop to this madness and taking an aggressive approach to make Christ the Lord of all.

We lean toward a Reformed understanding of scripture, but yet, seek to put into practice the principle of doctrinal humility; we confess that we are not yet perfected and we are open to correction and change, as the scripture deems necessary. We are not a cookie cutter Reformed Church and thus, you will see various aspects from other Christian denominations of history within our congregation.

We do not believe that everyone must agree with one another on every point, however, we must be united as one in direction and vision in order to work together. Being able to love one another through our differences is vital. Openness to being wrong and to change is of great importance. But sacrificing the clear teaching of scriptures for the sake of unity is never acceptable under any conditions.

The following is a brief description of our beliefs:

  1. The 66 canonical books of the Holy Scriptures are the only inerrant rule of faith and the only sure standard by which human reason, Church tradition or private revelation can be judged. (John 17:17)
  2. There is one God, the Holy Trinity, in which there are three distinct, co-eternal persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (1John 5:7)
  3. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone and is wholly the gift of God. Man is unable to seek God of his own will, and thus, only those whom the Father draws can come to Christ (John 6:44).
  4. Christians must show evidence of their new birth by holy living and by not following the ways of the world (1John 2:15-17).
  5. We hold that all adherents of non-Christian ideologies (including atheism, humanism, Marxism, nihilism, Judaism, Islam, Deism, and paganism) are enemies of Jesus Christ and His kingdom, and that it is the duty of Christians to oppose these ideologies and to seek the conversion of all non-Christians.
  6. Christians must seek to glorify God in all areas of life including government, academia, the arts, the sciences and the news media.
