Getting the Picture Right - In Your First Seven Years of Marriage - Georgetown TX

    We are excited to announce this marriage retreat for young couples who have been married seven years or less.

    Generally, most of the people who have come to our annual marriage retreat have children getting older - nearing the age of marriage. Without fail, many of them say two things to us, first: “We sure wish we had known these things 20 years ago.” Second, they say: “Why don’t you do a marriage retreat for younger married couples in order to help them lay foundations? Then they won't say, 'I wish we had known these things 20 years ago.'”

    Because of this, we have decided to hold a marriage retreat for young couples January 1-2, 2016 at the Moody home in Georgetown.

  • Speakers

    Scott Brown

    Scott T. Brown is the president of Church and Family Life and pastor at Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Scott graduated from California State University in Fullerton with a degree in History and received a Master of Divinity degree from Talbot School of Theology. He gives most of his time to local pastoral ministry, expository preaching, conferences on church and family reformation. Scott helps people think through the two greatest institutions God has provided — the church and the family.
